A snake is like
a piece of spaghetti
with eyes, slithering on the ground.
It feels as smooth as
a goldfish
a baby's skin
or sand on the beach.
The snake's hiss sound like
a gentle breeze
blowing in the trees.
When it slithers on the ground
it looks like the letter S.
Snakes! Snakes! ssssssssssssssss...

What a great poem!
ReplyDeleteI love your poem about snakes, even though I don't like snakes at all!!! I have never thought about what a snake might feel like. I think it would be rough because of the scales. You made me think about snakes in a different way. Great job!
